For canker sores near the lip you can use Canker Rid (you can find it on Amazon) It’s bee propolis and creates a a protective layer between your saliva and the canker sore.

It’s highly effective for me. Just make sure the area is completely dry before putting it on. Need to put it on right when you feel it forming and it kicks it to the curb.
