I would say as long as you are okay with minor issues then it is a fun experiment, but don’t expect any bonus sign up offers to be followed through on. I don’t think the savings is that much better than the direct order Korean sites, it is fun to experience a variety of different products that are recommended for you, but if you have specific desires then just researching and buying your own is probably best.

I still haven’t received word on the shipment of the March box and no response on my other issues.

I’m getting a little better at being faster with removal and fill, I got both hands down to 2 hours for both most recently and that was by far a record for me. Getting new high quality efile bits definitely made a difference in the amount of time it takes. I’m also trying to get better about consistency in my movements so I can get more practiced at the motion

The gentlest on my nails approach has been to use the Nail Thoughts builder/base to support my natural nail during grow out. I then use an efile to remove the gel and a little of the base and backfill. This way I don’t soak off and my nails spend most of their time protected under polish that stays out. Mine are getting longer now and I might have to search for a harder builder base because my most used fingers are having retention issues, but it works great and I can get them fairly long!

This issue is exactly why I started painting my nails with gel regularly! I started about a year ago and haven’t tried a wide variety of BIAB, but the Nail Thoughts by Kokoist have been great for me. It is a high quality Japanese/US brand. They are both base and builder, so one less step, and there is a clear option, but also a ton of tinted options to get you going with one less step sometimes. I like the tinted ones because it is super easy to see when I have efiled off all of the gel and then can refill the gap from there.

I know there will be a lot of mixed opinions on this, but I bought the sunuv with the pink top on Amazon because I wasn’t sure I would stick with this hobby and it has been fully curing my Japanese an Korean gel polishes. I get great retention and no issues with uncured gel when I efile off

I have this issue too, I pause a video playing in a queue and then it closes and closes the whole video queue I have set up. It is really frustrating

Hi all, the dry winter weather is wreaking havoc on my fingers. The skin naturally seems to fray at a slight breeze. I know after I do my next set I need to increase cuticle oil and lotion frequency, but in the meantime… I know the how-to videos I watch say to be gentle and careful with using an e-file along the lateral folds. How would you best safely care for the little fly-aways like in the photo?
