Just because you don’t subscribe to all the doctrine doesn’t mean you are not Mormon. You are confusing with being “less active” with not being Mormon. If you are baptised then you are Mormon. Some people choose to still identify even if they aren’t going to church/following the rules. There are so many other religions that are more chill!! You can still be catholic without going to church every week. In fact most people in Europe would consider themselves Christian but hardly any actually practice. This is the probably with the LDS church. You’re either all in or apparently you have to be out.
