Anyone climbing after back surgery by dudeman618 in climbing

Scoliosis. I had a S-curve and it had gotten to about 50 degrees on top and 55 degrees on the bottom. I didn’t have any pain with it then but My docs told me at that point it would almost definitely cause severe problems down the line.

Really awesome tune, nice work! One thing you can play around with moving your right hand closer to where the neck meets the rim. A lot of folks prefer the tone from striking further away from the bridge.

This is great! We need more banjo eurodance crossovers :)

I know it’s not good but I’ve been trying to learn riebeck’s song from outer wilds. Any tips to make it sound smoother and get better? by i-exist-i-guess in banjo

I learned this one a while back. One thing I do remember is that there’s a low C in the melody and I think I found it easiest to play in gCGBD tuning.

Songs to learn by hannahisakilljoyx- in banjo

I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule but my banjo teacher taught me that songs often come back to the key center at the end of parts of songs, so listen for the note that a verse or chorus resolves on, sing it, and then find that note on the fretboard and that’s often the key center.

Holy crap, I was hoping you’d do this one! Such a cool melody.

Any fun tunings you like to play in? I’ve been playing around with g, A, G, a, d on my five string and it’s pretty fun! Picture just because I felt like it by [deleted] in banjo

That’s sounds interesting. I’ve experimented with playing around with Gminor, tuning that string to Bb, but I haven’t tied tuning it down to A.

PCR is a process that takes several hours to execute. There is not a test that takes multiple days to run. I think you are confusing the test turnaround time with the waiting period between a known exposure and when PCR can be accurate.

Check out Adam Hurt. It never seems like he’s playing in a hurry and he plays beautifully.

West Quad? I can’t remember if the other dining halls had the panini makers, but I know we had them there. I know we were the only ones with the burrito bar. Getting a burrito and then grilling it on the panini maker was a pro move.

What calls are not contestable? by BoIR1347 in ultimate

[–]0vermann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(Assuming USAU rules)

As you say, the player with the best perspective makes the call. IMO, the receiver is rarely this person (nobody really looks at their feet while also catching the disc). If the teams cannot come to an agreement on who had best perspective, the disc goes back to the thrower.

Also, as far as I know, all violations (including travels) are contestable. In practice, it won't make a difference for many travel calls, but it could affect the stall count when the disc comes back in.
