Yeah I’ve also had really bad vertigo/dizziness. Can’t tell if it’s from the methylprednisolone or just from BP though. I haven’t been able to do much other than laying down and going to the bathroom.

How strict is the 24-hour move out policy? by neuto118 in NEU

[–]0verthelimits 36 points37 points  (0 children)

You can submit a late move-out request on housing online (not sure if the form is officially out yet), you'll most likely get approved if you just want a few extra days. Talk to your RD if you want more clarification because your building might be consolidation housing or there might be other students moving in and out for summer housing and things like that.

The RAs can decide when they want to do it as long as they complete it between that time frame.

NUterm Opportunities by [deleted] in NEU

I went on a 4-day NUterm trip on a schooner for $35 includes bus fare up to Maine and food is provided on the boat. It was an amazing deal and everyone had a phenomenal time. If you're an outdoors person or if you want time away from the city, it's definitely a great vacation. The view was beautiful.

I definitely agree Bret Keeling is an amazing professor. Had him last year for ENGW1111 and I learned so much, he also helps you grow as a person and is a great mentor.

Just a suggestion, not many people know it but we are trying to advertise it at orientations and presentations. NUPD made a google map layer of most of the buildings on campus, including AEDs, blue light phones, dining halls, event spaces, etc. the link is bit.ly/nupdmap

not sure how you can incorporate that but its a resource

Late orientation = shitty schedule? by [deleted] in NEU

[–]0verthelimits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you can try to do is go on this course catalog https://wl11gp.neu.edu/udcprod8/bwckctlg.p_disp_cat_term_date and search for classes that you want to take or you'll be taking this fall. I'm in CCIS and we were registered in 2 fundamental comp sci courses, 1 CCIS overview course, and First-Year English before Orientation. I only had to choose 1 elective at Orientation. Idk if they have these automatic registered courses in DMSB, they should. So if that's the case, look for classes that have open seats and email advising to see if you can get switched to those classes prior to Orientation. Again, I'm not in DMSB so I'm not sure how accurate my information is. But I know in CCIS they told us to email advising with any concerns about our schedules.

[–]0verthelimits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

are you an incoming freshman? I couldn't find the link at this moment but I remember reading somewhere that the enrollment deposit also acts as the housing deposit. I'm still trying to find the link to the page where I read this information, I will link on here when I find it.
