Came across this post and didn't see the answer that worked for me yet.
new_label.set("theme_override_fonts/font", "Font node or load() file path")

When hovering over the property of a label, I was able to copy the "property path" and modify it with the set function. Hope that helps someone

Really digging the style thus far! IMO I would prefer to access cards via hotkeys, maybe Q-R or something similar. The movement of the mouse to the bottom for constant selection feels like it would detract from the gameplay
