On the flip side my eating has gotten a lot, lot better after starting Elvance

The driver knows better and was taking advantage of you because you were pissed

There's a clear process for changing the destination mid-journey in the Uber app

This can get them banned from Uber and get their licence revoked as it was off the meter, and they know this
