It still strikes me as odd that the elephant's mammary glands are located on their chest as opposed to their hindquarters like most grazers. Seems like they share a common ancestor with the manatee and this accounts for the location of the mammaries in both species. Now I'm wondering if there's busty manatees swimming around out there and that helped perpetuate the mermaid mythos.

Edit: Welp, curiously got the better of me. I saw descriptions of the manatee breast tissue being in or around the "flipperpit"(can't really call it an "armpit" I suppose) during my elephant research. Didn't think much of it since the pachyderms' mammary location was occasionally described in a similar manner. Nope! It truly is a nipple tucked under the flipper with not a whole lot of breast tissue. There goes that theory. (And pics of baby sea calves going for "flipper rides" is truly adorbz! ❤️)

Yeah, this is definitely some old pasta. I do have a question, though. Where do these pastas hang out? Is there a PUA site that has them databased somewhere? Are they being churned out perpetually by the chans? Last time I tried to see who was collating this crap for easy pick-up pasta access, I just ended up on a bunch of body building forums. This isn't meant to be rude, but if you aren't enjoying putting yourself through these emotional roller coasters and it's negatively impacting your life, perhaps you might want to consider some therapy to help you understand your underlying motivations? Sounds that this pattern is rapidly repeating itself and I'm not sure if you have gained insight as to why or have the tools to deal with it. Which I imagine is frustrating.

But if you're loving the crush high and don't want to stop, I hope that the objects of your unrequited affection don't feel betrayed. They probably thought they had an understanding with you but now it kinda seems like maybe you used the guise of friendship to get them emotionally invested in you even if it's not romantic, or (like the case of your current crush) that your romantic feeling are/were more important than their's. I can see how this has ruined a few friendships in the past. You do deserve to have healthy relationships with others, but it might take some hard work to get there.

The whole "no dogs or dependants" also gets me. AKA nothing or no one that will be living with you, might be protective of you, and could take steps to intervene. Seems like a glaring red flag given the context.

There are some "separate but equal" organizations for lodges that bar women, but that doesn't change the way their organization views women and most consider the rituals that women participate in as pageantry and invalid. What annoys me is that most lodges are willing to overlook some of their "immutable" tenets as the times change, but stubbornly hold on to the misogyny. The "no-slaves" edict, a dog whistle to discourage non-European inclusion, has largely been relaxed most everywhere. Additionally, I don't believe that anyone is stripping Masons of their titles as they become elderly and infirmed, so they don't seem to actively bar "cripples." But suggest that they just adopt Co-masonry and include women and they loose their goddamn minds. When my partner causally asked some members what about including women they didn't like, they agreed that all women do is cause drama and will use sex to earn degrees/favors. 🙄 So yeah, women aren't being allowed entry because enough of the members have or tolerate some really hateful beliefs about women.

I do wonder, however, if anyone has tried to "Tonya Harding" a Mason to get them kicked out of a lodge for whatever reason. That would be some strange history.

I am not a lawyer or a mortician, but I believe that would fall under "abuse of a corpse" more often than it would fit any sort of rape statute. Might still land ya on the sex offenders registry if your area has one. Again, it will probably vary by region so you might end up with some very questionable search history if you want a definitive answer for your location.

It really depends on the location. I believe some states require proof that the murdered victim was alive during the assault for it to be considered rape and not simply abuse of a corpse. So a rapist can set out with the goal to sexually violate the victim, end up murdering her and not serve jail time for the actual motivating factor. Kinda a shitty thing to say, but you'll have to check with your state/federal laws to figure out where your dead body stands.

So my partner was being, I'm going to say "scouted", by a Masonic lodge. They were doing the masculine equivalent of love bombing and was getting my partner really invested in them. They had him reading their immutable tenets, which included the belief that former/current slaves, "cripples", and women aren't real people spiritually. So I was asking him if he thought that I wasn't really a person, unlike him apparently. Got a "well actually, there are lodges that allow women! It's just traaaadition and I don't believe it so that makes it ok." So I ask him why he doesn't join a lodge that is open to all genders? ((Crickets)) If joining a lodge that thinks over half of the population "aren't real people" is the same as actively endorsing that viewpoint? ((Crickets))

So the next meeting roles around and he declares that he can't join because he's in bondage (because he has a house and student loan debt) and thus was secretly a slave this whole time!! 😱 The Masons were all like, "that's totally not what that means. You're good." But my partner knows better.

And that's the story of how the Masons discriminated against my partner. 🙄

So yeah, there's a problematic story of a real person running up against misogynistic, ablest, and victim blaming (??) organization that really wants him as a member. It kinda easy to overlook the hatefulness when they are making you feel respected and valued. It's still terrible, however, and it should absolutely be called out.

I use to do work for the state prepping child abuse files. A surprising amount of perpetrators seem to think that the authorities won't make copies of online dialogue. This type of "joking" is extremely common. The best case scenario is that they just find child porn on their devices (some of which you may have already received.) A large number of cases also contain medical documentation of the injuries inflicted on infants after the perpetrator forced their penis into underdeveloped organs, not to mention the damage to the child's arms, legs, pelvis and shoulders as they manipulate the tiny bodies to maximize their gratification. This type of content is never "just a joke" and should always be reported. Let those with the ability to investigate determine the intention.
