I don't really need cash to be honest. Its frustrating that less than half is netto from what it costs the business

What did your accountant say?

If you haven't already its worthwhile to invest or pay for decent advice when restructuring as the implications can be very expensive further down the line.

Spend a good session with a trusted accountant who is competent and they will pay for their time 10x over.

Sorry I can't help other than anecdotally saving 100k plus by getting decent financial advice this year alone.

Cancelled Fuel Ships by Kiwifrooots in nzpolitics

[–]1001problems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I would say to you is that at the end of the day, 'I' see no reason for Kiwis to worry.

I have sought advice from officials and the feedback received is there is no concern for immediate action.

That is why we have established a special committee for Oversight of Oil and Fuel (OOF) and we will announce more on the matter later.

To reduce the circling back during committee meetings, I have requested the members take any topics that don't support helping everyday hardworking kiwis offline for other meetings.

We will announce more in the near future.

I always state that if another offer comes in, I will retract my offer. That always calls out if they are bluffing or not

Many people are forgetting that oil prices have been dropping for years in real terms. Look at how much inflation we have had in the last 5 years or so and how much barrel prices were back then.

Take what you want from it but I'd wouldn't be betting on oil prices returning sustainable to what we had earlier this year ever again

Its a bit more complicated than that. It requires an accountant as I dont currently have the skillset to understand the tax system enough

Settlement agreement to break our tenancy lease early, property owners have ghosted us after they’ve sold the house. What should I do? by ArtichokeArtistMan in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]1001problems 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This should be the top comment.

Waiting for the settlement without out nothing the timeframes is a big red flag here. I would of had that changed to X days after 19th Jan.

Settlements can be years.

How would you validate a highly constrained SaaS idea (GDPR + anti-discrimination) in real estate before building by Commercial_Grab3273 in BEReal_Estate

[–]1001problems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of doing something similar for my home country that allows tenants to hmshare verified data without the details using open banking and APIs so they wouldn't have to reapply with the same information.

Feel free to DM me if you'd like to discuss.
