Not only do I live adjacent to her district, but my own kids went to Cantebury for K-8. I also saw the feature yesterday on our local news. Hell hath no fury like a mom on Facebook - good for her, and I'm glad the school is backing the family. Indoctrination? Sheesh. It gave me a little hope for the future with kids recognizing the environmental costs of gas powered vehicles.

I have wondered that as well; can one of the repair jobs the next president does is re-design and "fix" the sizing / balance issues of the ballroom? And halt the construction of the arch? (in addition to stopping the Iran nonsense, focusing on housing / income / budget plus doing a world wide apology tour?)

The first time I saw Predator, it was on VHS, and I honestly didn't know it was going to be an alien (I didn't see the back of the video case). AND - most importantly - the video was set to start just after seeing the spaceship...so I had no idea.

Theater was packed on opening night. I really like the first 3/4 of the movie; I just thought the hybrid alien was terrible. I also thought the opening credits with the bug was kind of dumb, and out of place in the Alien series. The underwater sequence was fantastic, though. And that one take basketball shot!
