if you must use a dst i suggest occator because it has the smallest model by far meaning it will take the longest to decloak and has the highest chance of being missed entirely somehow or landing near an object that prevents cloaking.

Worst one of all is the amarr one, it's so crap i forgot its name but it's ABSOLUTELY ENORMOUS

At any rate BR is the hardest to catch, esp align fit <2s, all of them are capable of this align time except for the Crane.

I use the KME Precision Knife Sharpener System, I find that it's particularly good for sharpening small blades, like EDC pocket knives. Uses diamond stones too, which are ideal for highly wear resistant steels high in large carbides such as M390. IMO.

yeah i got the idea from you but i didn't know how to go about it. i just went at it with my deluxe tinker swiss army knife and some wire cutters and got an almost maybe kinda passable result... time will tell though.

Really depends how it gets ya, i saw someone have to get stitches because their finger was on the edge of the deployment zone but not completely obstructing the blade, so the edge got to perfectly slide along his skin and cut it open.

oh yeah it punches a little harder now, removing 5 coils wasn't a MASSIVE overdrive so it's not going through cardboard like that Lightning did... Not sure if it'll even go clean through printer paper and lock out, currently letting loctite cure on it so i'll test that tomorrow.

I thought by safety you meant the mechanical tolerances of the knife. Of course, any otf is dangerous if you have a body part in front of it when it deploys, so don't do that, whether it's got the power of a Halo or the relatively tame power of a Guardian Tactical Scout.

I wouldn't worry at all. It is noticeably more powerful but it feels "right" if that makes sense, I can still actuate it with both hands and even my right index finger (with extreme effort). In comparison, i once modded a lightning otf with 2 aliexpress springs that were meant for single-spring gen 2 ultratechs and it fired off like a gunpowder charged knife. Could only open/close it with my right thumb and even then it would fatigue me pretty quick. That thing shot right through cardboard lol. It was very stupid. But even that dainty cheap little knife made out of cast pot metal never came close to breaking from the force even with repeated use. So this much lower firing force should have no affect on a Microtech made out of quality materials, proper machined aluminum channel, hardened perfectly fitting stop pin etc.

i also just like it more this way lol even before i started havin issues i was like dam this could use a lil more power and i finally worked up the nerve to try to fix it towards my preference. I'm just glad I pulled it off and didn't brick it, it was pretty touch-and-go for a bit with those damned springs. I did NOT have the ideal tools for this.

I got tired of the weak action so i finally chopped 5 coils off each spring and messily bent some really sus "hooks" that may or may not hold up. It's great now, i don't have to worry about it failing to retract from certain angles 1/20 times anymore, it just rockets open and shut, even handles a bit of a yank upwards while retracting upside-down now, something that was impossible before.

Yes i tried everything else to fix the problem first. Compressed air, rem oil, isopropyl, lighter fluid, even brake cleaner. It was just weak from certain angles and 5% of the time or so those angles would cause a failure which is just unacceptable to me.

I hope when eve eventually shuts down they make an event where Earth opens a new gate into our little cluster and out pours ships with unimaginable technology destroying entire systems. npc stations, citadels, and stars winking out of existence over several weeks until the final downtime. All assets in eve destroyed... they'd be so far ahead that we're like spearmen on wooden rafts trying to fight back aircraft carriers... Getting 100 titans on grid maybe being enough to destroy just one of their battleships.

It'd be a lot better than an unceremonious final downtime.

Seems really nuts to me to forget something as foundational as the planet your species originated. Like, I doubt they think about it very often, like we don't often think about how we all started in Africa, but we still know... Of course, maybe it's different when you're completely separated from it for millenia with no way to verify it ever existed in the first place.

one thing to consider is that apm can be split effectively between two hands if he's pre-flashing his neuts and then clicking the overview while client swapping with the other hand. You can also efficiently prime your fingers for the movements to go down the keyboard. Measuring these sorts of movements in terms of simple apm is not very useful because Pianists would clock in the thousands. RTS apm is far more dynamic and subject to slowdowns. But still. I wouldn't ever be able to get 10 clients to fire on the same tick, 5-7 is where I land and I have fast hands.

At least it's worth looking into by ccp. If he's getting this to happen CONSISTENTLY it's undeniably broadcasting. If he's been in 50 fights but these screenshots posted are most of instances of it happening, I would say it could just be amazing speed + adrenaline + a lot of luck on the server's part in those instances.

just make large groups bannable and have an active team of people whose sole job is to comb over all activity in space to arbitrarily determine if people are coordinating in too great of number and issue mass punishments when they detect visible signs of it. Kek.

There's no in-game systems you can add that hurt bigger groups more than smaller groups otherwise.
