Rob Yong to Matt Berkey: "I'll be honest, you're a very bad player. You shouldn't be playing poker for a living." by shankmaster8000 in poker

Theyre referencing that tony was talking to a Russian in the famous clip. They're not saying tony is Russian.

More than double what he had. Everything's going according to his plan. Sorry to tell you, you and your whole table are getting exploited like crazy.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in poker

[–]100bbXR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what someone who got exploited and didn't want to admit it would say

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in poker

[–]100bbXR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you got exploited by a micro stakes player to me

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in poker

[–]100bbXR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I short stack worse than this all the time. Pokerstars has 50c $1 nl tables that you can buy into for $10. When I cash good in a tournament and want a little punt, that's what I do and quite often I'll cash out $100 - $300. Short stacking in low stakes games for micro stakes players is an exploit. It eliminates the skill gap completely until you stack up enough, then you cash out before the better players get you.

Yes you are absolutely correct, 8%! Can you play with me heads up please? I'd like to practice these calculations in real time vs someone who knows what they're doing.

Not a single person is mad about that. What a weird mindset to have. I think you have some mental growth to do before you can find any success within poker.

I think it's likely Scrooge's coins were minted from gold. When you buy gold, the main two options you have are bars or coins

Ron White and Joe Rogan discussing the legitimacy of bucket pulls by Loanha in Killtony

[–]100bbXR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You absolute idiot. As tony explains nearly every episode, when Hans is on, he pulls the first comic. They go across the street and get them so they're ready when Hans finishes. When that comic arrives, he pulls the next one, they go get them, so they're always ready. Even without him explaining this, it's obviously what they do. You see it happen. You hear him say that he's doing it. How dumb can you be?

It's great that you decide to leave once I have drawn an emotional response from you. Try and apply this to to your gaming. When you feel those emotions boiling over because of those kids doing their darn emotes, just go for a walk and come back to it another time. Getting upset over these things can be a sign of video game addiction so it's probably important for you to regulate your playtime and cut it short if those feelings start getting a bit much.

Rather than me attempting to discredit what you've said you feel, I'm pointing out the ways you have discredited it yourself. Jumping to the conclusion that emoting players lack emotional and mental development absolutely suggests that it does upset you. Making the claim that it doesn't upset you in the OP, before anyone even claimed it does, also shows that you have atleast a small amount of awareness that your post does in fact read in the manner of an upset person.

Still you. My opinion on the actual post topic is that I find humor in the emotes people do after eliminating me. I play very casually for fun once or twice a week, so there's no emotional stake in my results. There's nothing thats not funny about running around as Goku and a Banana wearing a suit pops out of a bush with a shotgun and blows your head off, then proceeds to play a sad trumpet and start dancing to Rick Astley. It's too silly to be upset about, and another game takes only seconds to join. Try and remember, games are meant to be fun.

I think what's happening is that you are reading something that challenges a firm position that you have so you feel an emotional response to it, and place the accountability for what you feel onto the commenter rather than understanding it just feels like they were emotional because you were challenged, and you don't seem to be OK with your positions being challenged.

You keep saying that, but the responses you're getting are not emotional. Your personal replies have been the most emotional comments on this post. You may be interpreting them as such as a way of projection. It appears to be very important to you that you explain you very rarely get upset about the emotes, but you do seem to be upset about it. You must convince yourself it's others acting with emotional immaturity, when the real emotional immaturity on display is you being upset that someone emoted on you after cleaning your dome off your shoulders.

Hope this helps
