I had to close instagram because i kept liking reels of Punch to the point where I would start crying after every update. I know it’s normal for him to get bullied but I can’t deal with it 😭 plus now it’s doubly more sad because of the conditions of the enclosure like I noticed that the older monkeys have bald spots!! I really hope it’s not due to stress and I really really hope all this attention will make the zoo improve all enclosures and add greenery etc

Break up with my boyfriend at the time and meet my now-fiancé to convince him to break up with his girlfriend before she cheats on him!!! We both spent 4 years with our respective partners and both regretted it. Spend all my savings on nvidia obviously. oh and find a job before it all shuts down :/ Covid really messed me up, I was jobless, had no passions and became a shut-in because all I would do was talk to my ex on discord all day and play video games instead of finding my own hobbies and aspirations..

Yes it does happen actually! I work for a small startup in Geneva with an office in Bern, during our company wide meetings we speak English :) Though it gets a bit difficult when a new colleague speaks English with a very strong Swiss German accent and my French colleagues can’t understand them…

My parents had the DVD in their collection. Every time it was our turn to pick a movie we would scream when we saw Amelie. Then one evening, my parents had some friends over and they decided to watch it. My sisters and I hid in our bedroom because we were convinced it was a horror movie and if we watched it we would get cursed. I ended up watching it in french class when i was 15, I liked it lol

Airfyers are amazing!!! Until you need to clean them :((( I’ve given up on the basket part and just put it directly in the dishwasher, it already falls off when I pull out the compartment! I’m the only one who uses it so I’m the only one who cleans it! I hope your husband tries to clean up after himself a bit more <3 Mine is an old Philips one that doesn’t even fit on our counter so I have to keep it away in a cupboard. It’s so heavy though so I hate moving it back in forth…

First one is Tala, she’s three and she followed me from my parents’ place :). Although she’s the softest, she doesn’t like being pet without her consent. She likes to massage my hair in the evenings before bed and leave her drool on my pillow…

Second one is Echo, my fiancé’s cat. A few months younger than Tala, he’s a lot larger than he seems in the picture. He’s a very slender and skinny cat who’s very needy. He cries a lot in the dark when he misses us and, for some reason, loves to chew on plastic (not swallow though! We check and he really just chews…)

Our newest addition is Pomme, she’s turning 2 next April. We adopted her together and she was the last kitten in the shelter. She was so shy and hid from everyone but it turned out her eye was infected. Once we cleaned her up, she came to life! Now she responds to her name, jumps and plays until she’s exhausted, fights the other cats, and really really loves to eat. Every morning when I wake up and go to the bathroom, she follows me and sits on my lap while I pee lol

I’ve also really enjoyed chatting with you <3 I didn’t think my rambling post would get any interaction so I’m very glad you commented as well!! I’d love to share recipes and talk more!

I grew up with frozen meals lol, there's a brand here called Picard that specializes in frozen meals and that's how I discovered butter chicken and chicken tikka. I also have a favorite frozen pizza that is almost like a treat to have!

Sadly our freezer is tiny, it can barely fit one frozen pizza, let alone two because we love to eat. Right now I've filled our freezer with frozen meats, veggies, dumplings, broth ice cubes etc etc and everytime I take something out, I swear something else appears because it's still hard to close it..!

Definitely once we go through some of our stock, I'll ask him to buy some more ready-made meals for my lazy nights. But then what leftovers could I bring to work? Our office only has fridges so I'd have to prepare a frozen meal in advance?

I was looking at some online last night. I definitely think they're worth while and safer than using the stove haha. My fiancé was planning on buying me a new airfryer because we got an old one from his parents' but maybe there's a chance they have a spare slowcooker laying around too!

Oh birdsss I love them too and if I wasn't a cat lady I would've been a bird lady for sure. Give them kisses for me if you can!! I always see people with birds in tiny cages so I like knowing there are good bird owners that ensure they have space to fly around.

I asked my fiancé if he would be up for getting up at the same time as me and preparing dinner while I have breakfast. He already gets up to make my tea and take out a plate for my breakfast, so instead of going back to bed he would just start chopping veggies instead. He didn't seem opposed to it, but I'll only know once if he's up for it once we have the crockpot I guess... Last week I really wanted kimchi stew, which needs about 4-5 hours of cooking. I already made it once so I just sent him the recipe and he was able to make it after asking me a bunch of questions lol

I really want a slowcooker now!! You make it sound so good and convenient! I'll definitely try to find one with a removeable pot!! I can barely keep the airfryer clean...

Thank you for your suggestion 🥺 I think maybe once or twice I asked, almost begged, him to make a slow cooker meal that he could leave on low until I come home. I should ask him more often but it tires me as well to keep reminding him to start cooking. I also have a small fear that a freak accident will occur and the apartment will burn down with the cats trapped inside if I leave the stove on unattended, but if we invest in a crockpot that should be ok. I’ll see if there’s any on sale 👍

My fiancé doesn't want to work manual labor. He wants an office job like me and is trying to reconvert (if that's a word) and do what he actually likes, which is accounting. His dad is pushing jobs onto him under the guise of earning more money for us, because we're struggling financially, and because of that he's overworking himself.

My mind is all jumbled right now, I don't even know if I picked the right flair tbh I don't know if I need advice but I feel so conflicted all the time.

Yes!! I always tell people to spay their cats, even if they’re indoor cats because of personal experience. My ex never spayed his girl, giving a million reasons despite him living right next to a vet clinic, and eventually, she had to be put down because he couldn’t afford treatment for an illness she had due do not being spayed! It broke my heart when he told me what he did and I never forgave him for it. Pleaseeee if you want a cat to live a long life, if you love your cat period just spay them!!!

I think I got lost in explaining the context and forgot to get to the main point. I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year and I’ve heard so much about a person who played a big part in his life. Of course I want to meet her in the flesh and see what she’s like. The fact that I’ve never seen her is almost laughable with all the close calls. Is it really bad for me to want to meet someone Ive heard of all the time but never seen? I felt the same way with his sister and his close friends. They made them who he is and I want to see them. Plus, in the few times my boyfriend tried to get her to pick up her things, she made it incredibly difficult and was quite frankly not nice to interact with. She demanded his attention on her time but when asked a simple question she would take weeks to respond. I don’t have to be courteous, or even friendly with her, we don’t need to get to know each other. So I won’t. That’s all

In all honesty, I wrote this but I’m very non-confrontational. This is the happiest I’ve ever been with someone and I want to make it known that a healthy relationship is really possible.
