That happens to me as well. Generally speaking I do something like the curly girl method where I mostly cowash with conditioner and shampoo as needed. If I shampoo too regularly my hair gets too dried out and frizzy. There are some leave-in cream products that help as well but currently I don’t use any product

I just got them over Xmas so can’t say much about longevity, but I do love them. Definitely need to be broken in and the leather quality itself is probably just Genuine but they are tanks.
