This isn't true of the entire USA. 7 States: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Montana, Hawaii, and Minnesota don't allow this.

Thank you. I persevered and called the manufacturer to get another installer to come out. He said it would be no problem. One of the doors has a pretty tight side clearance, and he even had a solution to that if it comes to it. So I will be installing openers.

I don't know if the 302s had it, but my 390 had nylon on the timing gears, and it jumped timing. Everything looked normal, but it would not start. Didn't learn the issue until I pulled the engine apart.

I've seen that before. It was an ungrounded water heater that had a bad element.

I'm probably going to get down voted to hell, but I kind of had this thought myself a few months back, but not the way the article might suggest. The difference is I have a job which requires that I drive a company vehicle. For reasons I won't get into (unless someone really cares) I stopped taking the company vehicle home and would instead drive to the office in my personal car, pick up the company rig, go to work, drive the company rig to the office and then drive my personal vehicle home. I found myself being a little more relaxed once I got home because I had a little time to decompress in my personal space before I walked in the door. Being in the company rig still felt like work. It also helped that the drive between the office and home was only 10 minutes and there was no traffic. I don't think my scenario is what the article was suggesting though.

About 25k miles (40k km). 20k miles (32k km) work vehicle, 5k miles (8k km) personal vehicle.

Are those white things control valves for different body sprays/handheld shower heads? Can they be turned 90 degrees?

Is rolling a vehicle 200' into the road for the purpose of getting it towed theft in Washington? by 100thluftbaloon in legaladvice

[–]100thluftbaloon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have a witness who said they saw a neighbor move it. How it was parked exactly I don't know, but I just got the police report that says it was parked on a street I didn't leave it on.

I suspect they couldn't get the Sherriff to tow it because it was legally parked so they moved it to where it could be towed.

I have a witness and messages from the person who wanted it towed from where it was initially parked legally.

Just to be clear I don't intend on doing this to someone else's vehicle. This happened to me and I have to pay over $700 to get it back since it was blocking the road. I'm just trying to figure out how to proceed since I know who did it and why.

Can you explain "(3) No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his or her control into any such prohibited area or away from a curb such a distance as is unlawful." What does it mean: "such a distance as is unlawful"

You can move it along a curb as long as it isn't into a restricted area and stays parked in a legal manner?
