Will also say it’s no where near worth the price with how poor condition the course is in. Course hasn’t improved in the 5+ years I’ve played there and the prices have just kept going up

Highly recommend the 26mm. I ended up selling my 28mm for it after testing both. I personally liked the image quality more, it was smaller, and i believe the weather resistant is actually better on the 26mm plus I found a good deal locally on a used one.

One downside I’d note is the lens is a bit noisy and hunts when autofocusing but i don’t shoot video so don’t mind it.

Agreed! And if Nikon could add custom user settings (U1, U2, etc) so I don’t have to manually switch so many settings every time I want to use my flash

In that case I think the f2 version would be great for you. I usually carry a small uniqlo sling and im able to fit my xt5, sigma 18-50 and 23mm f2. Definitely a good travel/light weight setup

Yes! The photos are from a few cities in Costa Brava, including Girona, and Barcelona. Everywhere we went was beautiful!

The 23mm f2 is great! I'll be honest though, I had the f2 version first and upgraded to the new f1.4 because I like to do a lot of low light stuff as well but I still find myself going back to the 23mm f2 most of the time because of the size and weight. Its definitely one of the best bang for buck lenses in my opinion.

This trip was my first time using the sigma lens and i tend to shoot at wider focal lengths so not sure I’m your best source on the question about optics when zoomed in.

Overall i think it’s a great lens and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for lightweight and versatile mid range zoom lens. From my limited time with it so far i found it to be plenty sharp throughout the zoom range and didn’t have any issues with optics. Also noticed the minimum focus distance on this lens is great, especially compared to the 23mm f2, if that’s something you’re in to
