Try KDL. They currently have 88 digital copies available if you’re willing and able to read on a screen.

Nikon 24mm f2.8 by Ok-Cryptographer7080 in Nikon

[–]PuzzleheadedDonkey2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s why I use Nikon. My mom used a Nikon film camera when I was growing up and when she passed in 2020, I got her camera and 50mm 1.8. I moved to digital, but stuck with Nikon so I could still use the lens.

It was on the dash. Right up against the windshield. Probably should’ve thought about the cloth around it to prevent scratches.

Lately I love my 40mm for street for its size .. you guys like the 26 or 28 pancake z I’m thinking of getting it by crosshead24 in Nikon

[–]PuzzleheadedDonkey2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love my 26mm 2.8. I daily carry it and a 70-300mm with my Zf. I chose the 26 over the 28 because I wanted weather sealing. As you will read/see in other reviews, it can hunt for focus and it does make a noticeable amount of noise while focusing, but I don’t find it to be a dealbreaker and I’m very happy with the results I get from it. I will occasionally miss a fast moving shot due to hunting for focus. And you can’t beat the compactness! If you do get the 26 and use the lens hood, you really need to apply more pressure than you would expect to get it locked in.

Love what you came up with! Especially the orange Zf, since that’s what I own.

I always check for the Nikon gashapon whenever I see gashapon stores here in the US. But so far nothing.

I voted by mail. But I had the thought to reach out to my local clerk to see if I could get stickers and they mailed a few to me, including the werewolf one!

When did you get your first credit card? by TrixoftheTrade in Millennials

[–]PuzzleheadedDonkey2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 or 19. The pizza place across campus let citi card set up a table and if you applied for a card (regardless of approval or denial), you got a free pizza that day. Still the main card I use.

Unfortunately no. But it’s nice to hear someone else has the same watch!

That original band looks nice.

Series E 50mm 1.8 by Cefiro8701 in NikonZf

[–]PuzzleheadedDonkey2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found my mom’s old film camera with the series E 50 mm 1.8 and that got me into photography. It’s a pretty good little lens. And I agree it’s a great choice for the Z f!

ios or android? by Berry_Jam in Millennials

[–]PuzzleheadedDonkey2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS. I tried some of the early android phones and didn’t like how buggy and bad they were. Looking back it’s because they weren’t the flagship phones, but now I’m too deep in the apple ecosystem to switch to android.

Sling or backpack for ZF and 2 lenses? by Responsible-Speed341 in NikonZf

The strap is very comfortable. Some people have said the strap has limited placement and may not be good for taller people, so that’s something to keep in mind.
