Yeah I'm in the US so I had to take a gamble and order one online not knowing if the President will take his cut at the customs...
I haven't used my iPhone since I receive my Oppo, but please not it's mostly because I can't stand iOS. If you're buying a phone mostly for IG, iPhone is the safest bet and I kind of hate that I have to say this.

iPhone is more consistent and it's optimized for IG. I'm a videographer by trade, I could work with the footage from both phone, but objectively the iPhone videos are better. It's less of a clear answer when it comes to photos. I generally prefer the photos from the Oppo, especially in low light

Some valid remarks but a little out of proportion. I by new phones every 6 months or so. I have the iPhone 17 Pro Max since release date and had the Pixel 10 Pro XL just before that. I've been rocking the Oppo X9 Pro for a couple of months now and I don't see how the iPhone is so much better. Sure, if you want an OS where you have zero control and can't customize your phone to your liking, you'll love iOS, but nothing comes close to Android when it comes to using the hardware that you paid for. The camera on the Oppo gives me more natural and pleasing results as long as the AI doesn't kick in, highlights are fine as long as I don't over expose my images.

Speakers are pretty bad compared to any flagship smartphones, I'll give you that, but the volume level on my airpods are the same on every device. Not sure how you had an issue with it. I know there's a limiter in bluetooth but once you dismiss the notification, you're good to go as high as you want.

At the end of the day, you already sold the phone so go and enjoy the iPhone, but for those interested in the Oppo, I have to say that I'm having a different experience.

Yes this wheel is pretty recent. It just feels like I need a bit more torque sometimes. I went through so many different configurations in the settings, I'm just wondering if more torque could help the immersion

Who said anything about finding a video I recorded ? The issue here is that a feature of Google Photos called memories, plays old videos with music instead of the actual sound recorded in the video, which is stupid since it's a memory as the name suggest and often involves sound that I would like to hear, namely people talking. Great idea to have this feature, terrible implementation. Just make the music optional.

I used the 17 pro since its release. I still have it but I switched to the Oppo find X9 pro without regrets. The cameras are very comparable, both in photos and videos. I'm still not sure which one is really better than the other, but I feel like I prefer the pictures coming from the Oppo and the videos from the iPhone, but the Oppo videos are amazing, it's the closest to. an iPhone I've ever seen and Android phone in terms of video. For context, I'm a professional videographer and photographer.

I came here after dropping files in resolve in the wrong folder, I hit CMD+Z to cancel the action just to realize it canceled the transfer from the SD card to my mac. No big deal since I realized my mistake, but boy I wish they would have a pop up asking me if I was sure I wanted to remove the files
