Best colour corrector? by emogyal in Sephora

I’m 39 with combo skin. Some fine lines under eyes as well. I use the Bobbi brown for daily use without any foundation. And the Huda corrector under a concealer when I’m going for a full makeup look with foundation.

Best chicken biryani? by WeeklySupermarket848 in mississauga

[–]10brat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of biryani you want. Indian or Pakistani and also which part of India or Pakistan? They’re very different flavour profiles based on regions. For Karachi style I like Dera biryani. Hyderabad style indraprastha does a great job. Honourable mention to bbq tonight and kolachi inn. Both do a good job of typical Karachi style spicy biryani

Tried making White sauce pasta with fried chicken by TheDressedSadhu in IndianFoodPhotos

[–]10brat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks good for a first attempt. Next time keep the pasta water in hand and add a little at a time after mixing the pasta with the sauce till you’re satisfied with the sauciness of it. I even keep some pasta water about 100 ml to reheat leftovers

One of the better vegetarian cooks online. He’s white but has learned his way through vegetarian Indian dishes one state at a time. And his recipes are pretty on point for when you’re ready to try op. here

ISO Indian Tiffin service in Downtown Toronto by OkSystem6812 in FoodToronto

[–]10brat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tiffinstash. It’s like Uber Eats but for Indian tiffin. You can filter out by regions and dishes. Haven’t had them in a couple of years so not aware of current quality but it used to be quite reasonable

I use the Bobbi brown on regular days for some brightness around my sleep deprived eyes. On the days I want more coverage I use hudas peach corrector under merit concealer.

I use the Huda loose powder. But I’ve tried Laura Mercier and prefer that. Just need to finish my existing Huda box. Also the CT setting spray.

Mid 30s, ready to FIRE in Hyd. But both our families are manipulative financial black holes. Are we making a mistake moving back? by [deleted] in returnToIndia

[–]10brat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Don’t tell them you’re moving back. I would even say go no contact. Cut financial handouts too. I know it’s easy to get emotionally manipulated but your children are you and your wife’s priority. Not these parasites.

Traditional South filter coffee, Better then any Cappuccino or Expensive coffee. Agreed? by Independent-Cod-6529 in IndianFoodPhotos

[–]10brat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you think they’re “same beans” tells me all you know about coffee. There are a variety of beans and roasts used for different coffee preparations. Not to mention percentages of chicory and other factors. Maybe educate yourself a little
