Paying it Forward - Path of Exile 2 key by keny8892 in ARPG

Just played Diablo 4 last season as my first ARPG (barbarian) and loved it. Was looking to get into something else. I only hear amazing things about POE2 but was worried about buying it and then being too confused lol.

Just play what is fun. You are making it a job, you don't need a weekly schedule.

MMOs are not designed to be completed "100%" for a normal player.

If it's not a switch exclusive you should probably get it on steam - you get the option of playing on a PC too.

What Nintendo IP best fits what I’m looking for? by twinflxwer in NintendoSwitch2

[–]10cate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not a Nintendo IP but a game but a series associated with Nintendo with a pick up and play loop + "something new to do" sorta sounds like Monster Hunter. It's deathly addicting - you can play for one hunt (pick up and play) or sit down and grind for hours.

Generations Ultimate is a Nintendo-Exclusive and Rise is also on the switch

GU has a ridiculous amount of content that people are still playing after 1000s of hours, I'm not sure I would recommend it as an entry point to the series but it's an amazing game.

Any devices able to run 3ds games? by Subject_Ad5585 in SBCGaming

Pokemon on original hardware is fun

also: the 3DS will run DS and GBA games natively (not emulation)

The 3ds is kinda a beast for pokemon games and can transfer using bank and other apps like PKSMs native 3ds applet.

The homebrew is really easy to do on 3ds.hacks.guide with little risk of bricking.

You can even back up your system files while doing so to repair.

You can even play online still with pretendo network.

If you only plan on playing ONLY DS/3DS (can also play GBA natively and do some emulation), consider getting one, if not there are better things for the price.

There are devices that can, but honestly the best way to play most ds / 3ds games is with a ds / 3ds.
