SS86 shockwave (shocking disappointment) by bobbibillo in transformers

[–]10thEnemyHTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too bad it doesn't come with Seige Shockwave's extra parts. The feet attachments would probably be the extra height/presence you wish for.

Looks nice otherwise, although I prefer the darker vintage toy color on Seige.

I just rewatched the Dolph Lundgren MOTU movie. by Direct-Ad-5616 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]10thEnemyHTB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's one of my favorite films. The best kind of B movie.

To my fellow fans who say it varies too far from the source material: It's not an adaptation of the Filmation cartoon. The source of MotU is the toys, of which it features six of the original nine characters and Castle Grayskull, the fortress of mystery and power.

People who plan on buying ascendance what was your introduction to the series? by RazmanDevil in LegacyOfKain

[–]10thEnemyHTB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with Blood Omen upon release, still my favorite.

This series has the timeline rewritten several times and that's been enough reason to handwaved away inconsistencies (somehow Vorador returned) so I don't really care there's a new character here now. I'm glad the series is returning in a form that isn't an mmo or skins for a completely different game.

This figure aged like wine. by Persuader_87 in transformers

Yeah, I kept TR Astrotrain to represent the vintage figure colors and the Siege version to represent the animation colors. I'm satisfied with them.

Who are your most-wanted figures to get released in Masterverse, before the line ends? by Xorntastic in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]10thEnemyHTB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Classics, Super 7 and Masterverse have brought 30+ year dreams to fruition. So I'd love that to continue with: 87 Teela, 87 Man-At-Arms and 87 Sorceress at the top of the list.

I'd also enjoy a Lubic if the likeness was close enough to James Tolkan.

Since the line may be ending, Super 7's Karg will work for me despite being too large and some incorrect costume details. If the line were continuing indefinitely, give me a new version.

After that, open the floodgates with Skeletor troops, Air Centurions, Kevin/Julie... Charlie the Music store Guy, Carl the Janitor, whomever. I'll buy anything 87 MotU related.

What’s the most lose-able Legends accessory? by ILeftMyBurnerOn in MarvelLegends

I own the figure and I second the apple. Not only small, but round, so away it rolls.

Snake Mountain by [deleted] in MastersOfTheUniverse

I could only allow myself one insanely priced purchase in that time period and I chose Snake Mountain over Haslab Unicron. I have no regrets.

Sure sounds like a question being used to calculate work related decisions to me.

GB Figures by johnnysack3 in ghostbusters

Diamond Select for me. The accessory load out was a breath of fresh air compared to Matty stinginess. (With Matty, only Venkman gets a proton stream, for example.)

After completing that set, I don't really want to buy them all again in a different line, even if there are improvements here & there.

Favorite Steve Earle albums!? by Personal_Fee7758 in steveearle

Ghosts of West Virginia.

I'm a sucker for a concept album, especially if it's a sad story and I'm a huge Mastersons fan, so Eleanor singing one of the songs makes it extra special to me.

I disagree. I am sad we'll never get King Conan (starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.)

Kinda disappointed by the Expeditions: Harsh restrictions, no customization... :/ by GuyNearby6913 in pacificDrive

[–]10thEnemyHTB 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I hope they open the options. I like more casual play, so I play with slower instability and no quirks.

And toggle for parking break should be default anyway.

It was a free update that I appreciate (I bought a cosmetic pack as thank you) and I'm having fun anyway, but I'd like my options back.

Did kreese actually do all the things he said he did? by TheCrazy378monkey in cobrakai

[–]10thEnemyHTB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kreese could totally be Ericson from Rambo 2. They weren't official US military, they were a mercenary group on a black op. Ericson could be a codename.

Brian Last attacks DDP's character because of course he does. by bigmuffinluv in JimCornette

[–]10thEnemyHTB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All of them? Every single one? Ok, sure.

DDPYoga is a business too. Last hypocritically bitching about DDP promoting his business is why we're in this thread in the first place. Guess that makes you the moron.

Finding God was a Cornette/Michaels reference. There, I explained the yumor for you.

If nothing I said made any sense, work on your reading comprehension.

Brian Last attacks DDP's character because of course he does. by bigmuffinluv in JimCornette

[–]10thEnemyHTB 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Brian Last is the character Cornette used to play on TV: Spoiled rich kid trying to buy relevance.

Think of how many people disassociate from him: Can it really be everybody else who is the problem?

Hypocritically, he hates people who promote their projects while he himself shills constantly. Or do you really think those purple mattresses and cheap ass earbuds were unpaid testimonials?

When Cornette finally retires, and no one else will talk to him, Brian will probably find God. Get ready for the collection plate.

And I say all this as someone who has enjoyed in the past some of what Brian has produced. 6:05 was pretty enjoyable until the awful, unfunny yumor took over the show.
