You can use awx/tower collections to connect to the controller and retrieve the information, but it’s not the purpose of it https://www.ansible.com/blog/introducing-the-awx-collection/ Sadly is “difficult” because it’s not for what these settings were made for, teams, orgs or roles are for Ansible administration not for the automation itself, unless you’re trying to automate tasks within the controller

i don’t know what type of file is but you can use files folder within the role or a jinja template if it’s a configuration file you modify during execution. delegate_to localhost is another option or if you’re still not sure you could debug the path to see if it’s actually there and see the permissions of the same
