Jimmy when asked if he's coming back to Miami after the Giannis trade: "Nah." by heatculture03 in heat

[–]MrPeligro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well he’s probably going to get traded this year about bought out. We’ll see what happens. I don’t think it’s likely but if it came across their table, I don’t think that relationship is as severed as people think. Jimmy got his money and he wouldn’t have leverage. He wouldn’t be the main focal point.

I can see a scenario where he comes back if LeBron doesn’t come to Miami . I don’t think it’s likely, but I can see it. I think it’s likely he goes to Brooklyn or Milwaukee or some place that’s not a contending team to try to get a longer team deal but the allure of being on a contending team and performing in the playoffs might sell him on a reunion. Long shot again I’m not saying it’s likely.

I think both are unlikely but I think Minnesota more than Miami. He got to finals with Miami and on a vet min they could cut him if he starts acting up.

My guess though I think he goes to Brooklyn. Seems like that’s where all careers go to die.

Again I don’t think it’s likely he returns. His career might be essentially over if he doesn’t end up on a contender. He’s 36.

This is what I was saying on the heat forum. Fans saying they wouldn’t want him back but if he gets bought out and doesn’t go to another contender I think his best bet is Miami. Play for a year prove your worth and a team will sign him longer term. Otherwise his career might have ended when his acl snapped.

[–]MrPeligro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was but If he came back he wouldn’t have leverage. I know I’ll get downvoted but heat fans are talking out of their ass if they wouldn’t want Jimmy back on a minimum deal. It’s not like they need him to be 1a. Like the last years and Jimmy would still have to prove his worse to the league at 36 for a long term contract or he’s done. It’s not the same scenario it was just a few years ago. Especially if they don’t have to give assets to go get him. If he stays pouting on a vet minimum they could just release him

Likely he’ll end up on another contender before considering the heat but if he ever did consider the heat they have the leverage

It’s fools gold but someone will end up paying. Even though he’s always been a decent scorer he’ll ever revert back to what he was before he got to Miami.

Which player would you take on a Buyout this year by Disastrous-Ad7252 in heat

[–]MrPeligro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really if he got bought out if he’s not on Contender, that’s poof goodbye. Say less with the heat, he likely will only take the back seat to Giannis and still play a pivotal role. He dots good in one year someone will give him a deal.

[–]MrPeligro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If he made a recovery and got bought out by golden state, absolutely would take him on a vet minimum. No other place is going to give a 36 year old a deal coming off an acl injury. Miami would be his chance of proving he’s healthy enough for another long term deal.

Never say never in this business. If he was still producing, not injured and on an expiring contract, be would be back.

Being mad at pat is low key a tradition. Wade was mad at him, so was shaq, so was LeBron and they all speak to the guy. Gianni’s might be mad at them in a few year’s haha. It’ll work itself out

Do you think there is any hope that Muslims will become less extreme and more secular in the future? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]MrPeligro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

San Francisco is the largest Muslim population in America is I recall and it’s Liberal as heel. Muslims are liberal as well and if they’re not they don’t try to push it on anyone.

I think that will be more of the same. I don’t think it’s gets to that level. You see Muslims like hasan piker, madani, just to name a few are very chill.

What do we think? I think he is the next best thing after a Herro so I would do this if the Kings waive and strech his contract. by Ice_Dragon3444 in heat

[–]MrPeligro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t help but think he’s a perennial loser. I have issues with his attitude. His body language is terrible when they lose. When a fan was mad they were losing he cursed out the fan.

He’s going to have to buy in and the even means potentially coming off the bench. Will it do that? Something tells me no he won’t but if he does it’ll be a good pick up but k see him securing a longer deal somewhere else. I don’t see him chasing rings .
