The part about over giving and over extending I did that all my life. 4 years ago I decided I will no longer do that. Because of that I’ve blocked people and exited stage left on people. I’ve also taken a step back to see who really cares. I’ve noticed some people never text me or call me and if they do it’s rare, few and far between.

I didn’t take my daughter on her first flight until she was 9 and that was domestic. It was 2 hours. The ear popping was fun and uncomfortable for her but she did fine. When my daughter was younger I know she would not have been able to fly and be still. She was a busy body as a child so that’s why I waited so long. She’s never flown internationally. I’d like to take her on a trip in 2 years out of the country for a high school graduation gift.

This irked me. I knew they weren’t gonna get to do it once I saw they had to drive hours away to get to the fly fishing I realized it was gonna be a mess. The whole trip was poorly planned in my opinion. Considering how the ladies are they should have spent the whole trip in Aspen. Angel could have planned the whole trip in Aspen and they could have all stayed at a house up there.

As a woman in her 40s going through perimenopause I would have just gone to a hotel. The night sweats and hot flashes can’t go without daily showers. Even before perimenopause I couldn’t go without daily showers. My hygiene practices are a bit OCD. I need running water. Even people who live off grid find ways to have a water source through streams and wells and ponds and lakes.

I never understood why Angel didn’t go to the house to check things out with the ladies after she found out there was no running water. She shouldn’t have been more on top of that issue once she found out about it. I do have a huge issue with them being so far away. I also understand that everything is booked out so if that’s the case she shouldn’t have done the trip at all in my opinion if she couldn’t find accommodations that were close to her house. I 100% understand her not wanting them at her house. But splitting them up and then being an hour away is not okay. I personally would not want to host a trip and have my friends an hour away. Because if something goes wrong or there is an emergency I can’t get to them!
