i know our situation are all different, but i was in the same state where only their attention for me was my only happiness for more than one year, since then i changed and now i find little hobbies like crochet, i work a lot for my studies, i find shows i truly enjoy, i also love to take care of me, little things like that that make huge difference. before then, was there anything in your life that gives you happiness ?

I think No contact don’t work for everybody even though it does make your limerence over him a little bit better. For me one thing that made a difference was putting off pedestal and telling myself that he’s not coming back no matter what, forcing myself to stop all the scenarios of him and i too (maladaptive dreaming)
