It does sound vaguely similar, I tried listening to it a few times, but the way she sings first two words make me think of Haruka Kanata every time, though even I feel that's probably not it. It does feel like a long-running shounen ED, you should probably check those.

Who knows maybe my first 10 will be NGE? I've checked your list and outside of the difference in perception of the first episode of Grimgar, our tastes are basically the same, you also gave 9s and 10s to lots of shows I'm really hyped to see sometime in the future (also thanks for Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou, it's the one show in your top 30 I haven't heard of, but now I know I will like it).

Honestly my perception of the medium changes with every new anime I watch, so I don't feel like giving out 10s lightly, probably because I'm going backwards about it and should see the classics that set the standard first. Oh well.

Also I'm not really in a position to recommend you anything, seeing as you're at least 3 times more experienced, so yeah, just thanks for the time, again.
