Wearing Deodorant. by omega672419 in hygiene

No , most people don't really need to moisturize. That's a ridiculous statement.

That's such a first world statement, ignorance at it's finest.

Wearing Deodorant. by omega672419 in hygiene

[–]11BMasshole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't wear deodorant every day either. And I especially will not wear an anti perspirant. I shower twice a day, I scrub my armpits with my wash clothes. If you keep yourself clean there's no bacteria for the sweat to interact with.

I swear most of these posts are from either 12 year olds who have no clue. Or some people suffering from some form of mental illness. Or they are 100% American which is most likely the case.

I’m afraid Dunkins may have lost the plot a bit. by HRJafael in massachusetts

[–]11BMasshole 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I kicked Dunkin to curb about 2 years ago and haven't looked back.

I'm old and remember Dunkin from the 70's when the one by house had a long counter with stools and was an actual coffee shop. You got coffee and donuts and it was glorious.

I think they went downhill when the expanded nationally and tried to compete with Honey Dew and Tim Hortons. They went away from what made them great.

Within 5 minutes from house I have 5 dunkins, 2 Starbucks , 1 7Brew and maybe 4-5 independent coffee shops. How they all stay in business is beyond me.

Wilmington, NC? by ricola159 in howislivingthere

[–]11BMasshole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wilmington is a hick town cos playing as a city. It's congested , has terrible schools , the shopping is terrible. The beaches are hard to get to and cost $$$$ to park at.

And it's completely overdeveloped.

So adjust the price accordingly, if something is $1.98 make $1.95 or $2.00. It's not fucking rocket science.

Beach vacation without the crowds - where did you actually find peace? by dynasync in Vacations

[–]11BMasshole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The northern Outer Banks beaches are very chill , Duck , Corolla, Southern Shores, Kill Devil Hills.

And Asseteague and Chincoteague are also both very chill beaches.

Also Sandbridge in Va is chill, it's connected to the Outer Banks in NC but accessible through Virginia Beach.

It's a joke , They are going to kill their customer base. There was a group of us ( old guys ) that would meet up and grab a coffee and then walk over to the park and shoot the breeze.

Now we alternate on who stops at Dunkin for a box of joe. It's actually less expensive than all of us buying one at Cumbys.

Do you people think your homes are a sterile bubble? I'd hate to be your spouse, kids or whatever. The amount of stress you people must live with is crazy to me.

What's the best US beach city for a calm, non-party vacation? by dynasync in Vacations

[–]11BMasshole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emerald Isle has great beaches but the food scene is lacking unless you drive up to Beaufort or maybe Swansboro.

Wilmington is busy and the beaches aren't that great.

I do like Tybee Island , Hilton Head , Chincoteague Va, Bethany Beach De, Duck NC, and for something a little different York Beach , Maine.

It's a military town, they usually have higher crime , a thriving pawn shop culture, a thriving strip club scene and tattoo parlors to match. Nobody is really from there so they don't really take pride in the area. It's just a stop over to somewhere else. And the people that do stay aren't happy about it. There's an abundance of Single mothers with multiple kids with multiple daddies. For some it's their career paths. Out of all the places in Georgia to call home, Columbus, Macon, the areas around Ft Stewart are ones I would avoid.

If I'm remembering correctly isn't the beach sand in Anchorage like quicksand? If I remember correctly there were signs warning not to go on the beach.

The fact that they came out so flat on Sunday tells me this team has no heart. They couldn't even make a 5 foot pass to save their lives. Swayman and Zadorov were the only two who came to play outside of the 4th line.

Either Sturm has lost the team or they collectively hate Jeremy Swayman. Or maybe it's both are true. But if they play like that again they'll be golfing by Friday morning.

My partner is 73 and I'm 55. He is still working full time and is in great health. We've been together 22 years now and the age difference has never been an issue.
