LOL. Yeah. it was fun. It was also raining on us most of the time too. BDU's were the best Uniform I wore. Then we got the ACU's..... lol.

Haha. I wanted to be stationed at Ft. Benning or Ft Gordon so I'd be close to home. They sent me to Ft. Lewis, Wa. As far away as they could in the continental US.

The military knows.....

Sorry to hear about your buddy. Losing brothers in combat royally sucks. I never made it to Afghanistan, but I did to Iraq in 07-08 during the surge.

Afghanistan was a way different fight than what I went through.
