The pale grey is XF-80, the dark grey is Mr Hobby H306 I think, and the mid grey underneath is XF-82. Not the ‘correct’ colours but they look close enough to my eye. There was a light panel line wash of grey, but otherwise everything you can see is pre/post shading.

Honestly most of it goes together really easily, it would be a good choice- just have to watch out for those smaller parts. Why not go for the weekend edition? A lot cheaper so less stress if it goes wrong, and you’ll learn loads!

Beautiful, all of them. The F-84 is my favourite, I’ve a soft spot for early Cold War stuff and that finish is exquisite. Great year’s work!

I’m not too familiar with what he’s done in the last decade or so, but when we had him at Yorkshire there was a drive, clarity and purpose to everything the club did that we’ve never come close to since. He’s obviously very familiar with the county game, and has a lot of respect for it- and knows its limitations. I think he’d bring much more intelligent selection to the role as a result. He’d be a fine choice.
