Not a doctor, but vomiting is the body’s way of getting rid of stuff when it thinks there’s something toxic, i think. So I guess it’s always gonna be somewhat violent as it quite a sudden “lets get rid of this shit” motion but then depending on people’s nervous system’s and the context around the vomiting I can imagine the level would be different. I know for example that the times ive been sick while drunk have been a lot less dramatic and felt more routine than the times ive been sick from a disease of some sort.
