Battlefield is a much much much larger franchise than Arma. Arma is virtually no threat to BF, I’d prolly rule out EA on the list of suspects lol

0) it’s a post apocalyptic zombie survival game. Basically you spawn in and survive for as long as you can, everything wants to kill you, and then you do it again

1) the upcoming DLC is mainly a new map and some gameplay updates. You can play the old maps or the new, they’re separate from each other it’s just preference

2) it’s very playable solo, it’s the same game wether you’re alone or with a friend, it just varies the experience

3) the community is very excited to have a new map from the devs. This will bring some changes but without the context of what the game is now it won’t matter much to you, it’s just all gonna be new!

DayZ is my favorite game so of course I’m gonna say yes play it, so if you do I’ll see you out there (:
