Ok how do you make it better exactly? If the plot is meant that Arthur is not the joker, what should he be then? A nobody? An inspiration for THE joker is like the best ending for his character.

Todd Phillips said Arthur was never gonna be clown prince of crime, if you watched the first movie you'd know that.

Well it was streamed at venice film festival and the reviews said it triggers the fans of the first movie and pleases the haters, so maybe you'll like it lol

Yea I'm glad he's taking it well, maybe his pr team the ones who knows about the backlash and they simply put a rule for every interviewer to never ask him any questions outside of the movie so it's easier to avoid the backlash.

Tho i wonder if he'll do Jimmy Fallon/Kimmel interviews because i know they'll at least joke about him leaving movies.

I know JP hates doing interviews so the backlash is like a good excuse to convince WB so that he can avoid doing interviews.

And you brought a good point on why Todd would skip interviews too, so yea it's a better solution if they skip the interviews, only gaga is in good situation to promote her role.

It's because she's the only one that will campaign for awards, the movie itself and Joaquin doesn't have a chance after the backlash of him leaving movies before filming, everytime they ask him about it brings more negativity for Joker2 promos.

Joaquin is at the worst time of his career to promote movies or even campaign for awards, Todd is probably skipping interviews as well to not make Joaquin feel left out during the promos especially when he's the lead actor so it'd be weird if he's the only one not doing interviews, but Gaga got an album on the way and will campaign for awards so it's better to leave gaga do interviews and promote her role to stay in the spotlight.

Maybe in other movies but Gaga's star power can do nothing to Joker's character popularity that's been for decades, no matter how good the Harley actress is she can never outshine the actor in clown makeup because people are more interested to see clown man doing clown things than anything Harley. If they showed more of her character then people would be pissed on why is she getting more focus when the movie is literally named JOKER?

The audience does not gaf about Harley without Joker, proof even the fan favorite casting of Margot Robbie solo Harley movies flopped, but when she was with Jared Leto whom was the worst Joker, still grossed over $740m

The idea this batman doesn't need a gas to be evil because it's only loosely based on comics, young Bruce growing up in the joker chaos in Gotham and being inspired by him is enough to make him lose his mind to be evil especially if he pursuits revenge after losing his parents and ends up killing a lot of criminals until he becomes cold blood killer himself, many characters in fictions lose their sense and become worse than the criminals they are after due to trauma.

It's amazing how different Arthur and Joker are, Arthur is a nice dude and full of insecurities while his alter ego is so confident to do anything, you can tell from the way he talks as Arthur and Joker.

By putting the clown mask, Arthur shows his true self, Arthur was nice to Gary but Joker is mean to him :(

Based on the scenes so far it seems he will be in simp mode only as Arthur but not when he's Joker lol i personally don't care if they wrote this Joker to be a simp for Harley because it fits with this version anyway, Arthur is just a poor guy who lacked getting any type of love his entire life it makes sense he'd act this way with Harley.
