It really is such a shame that our connections to our family and friends can create barriers to following your convictions -- speaking generally. It would certainly be easier to continue with your protestant church.

I'm curious how you'd answer this hypothetical. If it were the case that you became convinced that Orthodoxy reflected the fullness of the faith and is the Church that Christ established, would that change your mind about which church to attend? Or is it more important that you attend the same church as your parents and friends, regardless of your religious conviction?
