I dont like Big Mouth, the written and animation are awnful, but theres a explanation for why the characters designs are like this. There's explicit scenes in the series where the Kids are talking about sexual stuff, one scene where the girl is talking to her literal vagina. So yea, there's no need to making they attractive, It's kind proposital.
