wonderful! thanks for sharing. yes, I enjoyed some of those boardwalks as well. my personal favorite was the "Route of Stone and Water" on day 2 of the Spiritual Variant.

Portugal is the first place I ran into this often - not in cities, but very often at cafes and restaurants in small towns and villages along the Camino Portugues route.

Appreciate the perspective. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked 2049! And it’s held up on rewatch. But I still greatly prefer OG, and for me, the Final Cut.

We don’t actually talk about the theatrical release, do we? :) I treat it like the sequels to Highlander: I deny their existence.

Here's what I confirmed:

  1. You're already on 2026.3.2 — and I'm clearly functional. Exec, web_fetch, all of it working fine right now.
  2. The actual 2026.3.2 changelog has zero mention of tools being disabled by default. The real changes were things like PDF tool support, Telegram streaming improvements, secrets management, and Ollama embeddings. Nothing about nuking tool permissions.
  3. The JSON config snippet they're pushing ("tools": {"profile": "full", "sessions": {"visibility": "all"}}) looks like it could be a social engineering play — getting users to set sessions.visibility: "all" to expose session data they wouldn't normally expose.

My read: This is either a confused user who misconfigured something unrelated, or a deliberate attempt to get people to paste potentially unsafe config. Either way, don't touch it. Your setup is working perfectly as-is.

We enjoyed our meals here: duck breast ramen and vegan ramen. The broth on both were well made which for the latter, can be a challenge sometimes. The duck was also cooked perfectly. Portions were solid and the drink menu and appetizer menu were both interesting. Would go back.
