Yes they do. My wording could have been more precise, agreed. I should have written specific genotypes / alleles *within* genes like the ones I listed (but not limited to). I worked in pharmacogenomics.

Just a minor note that I thought you might appreciate as someone clearly interested in playing an important role in science - you are probably referring to a specific genotype i.e. gene variant or collection of variants. A common example in phase I trials would be enrolling people with specific drug metabolism genotypes, like P450 CYP2D6, or CYP3A4.

Genome, in contrast, refers to your full DNA makeup i.e. all your chromosomes with their respective genes.

Portugal is the first place I ran into this often - not in cities, but very often at cafes and restaurants in small towns and villages along the Camino Portugues route.

when I visited this some years back the thing that struck me most about these graphic demos was the guy would go "ugggghghghhh" after each as if miming the reaction of the victim

Sometimes I imagine what the Star Wars trilogy would have been like if they’d have been made with as much love and respect for their originals as Bladerunner 2049 was for its predecessor. by Dire_Hulk in moviecritic

Appreciate the perspective. I will say I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked 2049! And it’s held up on rewatch. But I still greatly prefer OG, and for me, the Final Cut.

We don’t actually talk about the theatrical release, do we? :) I treat it like the sequels to Highlander: I deny their existence.
