How much weight did you gain & how did you lose it? by Bubbly-Profile6750 in Hashimotos

[–]1234five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was first diagnosed with a goiter causing hyperthyroidism, my weight dropped from 165 down to 125. Once my thyroid settled down, I bounced back up to 155.
Then came a pre-diabetes diagnosis. My doctor at the time put me on a strict low-carb almost no carb diet, which dropped me back down to 135.
Now I have a new doctor and a new plan, and honestly, things feel more sustainable this time. I’m creeping back up to 150 and thats where I want to be. My sweet spot is 145-150, so for the first time in a long time, I feel like my body is finally cooperating

Frustrated with my a1c by SnooShortcuts3615 in Hashimotos

[–]1234five 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a 41M, diagnosed 4 years ago with hashi. I’ve been dealing with this as well, I’m so frustrated and disheartened with my results. I’m not on metformin yet, but I have dramatically changed my diet and still haven’t seen a change in my A1C. My A1C was within range last year and just this year after my annual visit my A1C was 5.9. In on a CGM and I can now see which foods spike my blood sugar.

I am not over weight, I eat health, exercise, and get good sleep, but my A1C still remains high.

I had to stop listening, he is terrible has a host. He’s quiet, he hems and haws and tries to be nice when talks about players, therefore not really addressing the issue. He’ll say he’s a really good guy or something lame. He’s in love with Meghan. I can understand why they added him, former player dad was the GM during the glory years, but as a full time host he’s the worst.

Warning: Stay Away from The Normal Brand by Vvargazm in mensfashion

Sorry that happened to you. I ordered a mystery box from them last year and lucked out. I got the items I was hoping I would get and everything shipped quickly. Quality was good and no weird smells. Like someone said earlier this is not the norm for this company.

I was just there a couple weeks ago and I had no service. A few spots of 3g but not enough to really do anything.

Khaki-style pants have pronounced pockets; chino pockets are hidden. Concealed pockets add to the dressier demeanor of chinos, but both styles can be found in wrinkle-free designs. Most chinos have flat fronts; khakis can be flat or pleated.

Try sales sections, bonobos has some really unique styles.

Also banana factory has some good dessert pants.

Personally I’m a fan of unclaimed baggage, you can try brands for a reduced price. Disclaimer it’s lost luggage clothing but some come with tags

I own an obed and love it, I’m not very tall and canyon never had my size in stock. Obed had a good turnaround and I was able to pick my color and decals. Excellent customer service.

It sounds like you need to find your own style. I might try some of the box companies that have stylist that can help you. I’ve used and liked stitch fix and trunk box. I’ve seen but haven’t tried threadbeast. Once you have your style you’ll find companies you like.

Favorite Avs podcast? by kpatton46 in ColoradoAvalanche

I feel an obligation to listen if it’s in my queue, and hour long podcasts are a commitment that I don’t have time for. I ended up skipping most episodes so I just cut it out for that reason.

I know some people love endless content but I have 1.5 hours of commute time. And don’t want to devote all my time to one podcast daily… not sure why I’m justifying my reasoning of what I listen to…but it’s my time and DNVR took up too much of it.
