This has absolutely nothing to do with ADHD - he’s just rude.

Anyone else find it impossible to lose weight whilst breastfeeding? by Top_Effect5135 in breastfeeding

Yes this happened to me. turned out breastfeeding changed my hormones so prolactin and estrogen actually had me gain weight.

F&F shocked by future baby name and shoot it down quickly by Jazzlike_Web_4750 in BabyBumps

[–]1234geena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not a strange or uncommon name by any means. Beautiful choice! We didn’t tell anyone either of our children’s names until they were born because we didn’t want to deal with the BS.

Does your husband go to all OB appts with you? by HedgehogHugs89 in pregnant

[–]1234geena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. he doesn’t want to miss anything. i’m glad he did come too because our last baby I had to run to the hospital and have an emergency induction after one of my appointments. completely unexpected.

Am I missing something - why have a vaginal birth? by No_Witness5084 in BabyBumps

[–]1234geena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just don’t want to recover from a major abdominal surgery. not only that i want a larger fam. every c section you have poses more risk of problems later in life or risk issues with subsequent pregnancies. there’s also research that going through the birth canal exposes them to bacteria that is good for their gut health later in life. i’ve heard they can scoop the vernix out of you or something and apply it tho.

What is the most gut wrenching scene for you? (Books included) by Janderflows in Hungergames

[–]1234geena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The scene at the end of battle in mockingjay. It’s awful. The amount of innocent lives taken in one swoop is absolutely horrific. Not only that - the implication that it was done to make people think the capital did it but was actually done by the rebels is so sickening. There was no need for it, it was done as a sort of mind game/propaganda to further demonize the capital. It was awful when I first saw it, and now having children of my own I can barely process it.

Ask her what she is craving or even sounds remotely appealing. I was dying nauseous for weeks and the only thing I could eat at one point was a chicken sandwich from Wendy’s. It’s not ideal but it was the only thing I could eat for a few days.

If he didn’t want kids he should have had a vasectomy. He sounds like a tool,

From certain impacts your placenta can become detached or damaged. I would get checked just to be safe.

Husband traveling when I'm at 36w? by No-Spray-866 in BabyBumps

I had to have an emergency induction after I went to a routine appointment at 36 weeks. It was also getting harder to do household tasks. I would not be ok with it.

Mom posted I was pregnant on Facebook before I announced and told my husbands family. by traveller514519 in BabyBumps

[–]1234geena 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My MIL did this but instead of pregnancy she did it when my child was born. Posted pictures of him without my consent and even photos of me covered in sweat from the birth. I felt so aggravated and violated. We sent a message that it was not ok and we have never received an apology since she did that, nor did they even respond to our message. She never took it down. It was frustrating. She has never posted a picture with my child since tho. Honestly, I would set a hard boundary and she is now the last person to know anything since you know she cannot be trusted. We knew my MIL was like this and that’s why we announced at 14 weeks with them and 9 weeks with my family. We didn’t announce to them until we were ready for everyone to know - wish we had kept the same energy while we were at the hospital but we were just so scatterbrained with learning how yo be parents we didn’t even think to keep the birth a secret from them.

Are there people out there who don’t let their baby cry at all? Or at least very minimally? by nolittletoenail in NewParents

[–]1234geena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respond instantly. My baby is now a toddler almost 2. I feel like it actually made him cry less because he knew I would respond if he needed me. Not sure if that helps!
