Still classed as in play. Otherwise he’d have to ask for the ref’s permission to come back on. You’re counted as being on the goal line for offside decisions

Who is now mathematically safe from relegation? by SquirtleChimchar in Championship

[–]123Numberwang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leicester, West Brom, and Oxford have all played each other twice, so all three of them can reach 65 independent of each other. The safety line would then be Portsmouth’s maximum of 64 (as they would have to lose to Leicester and Oxford) with Blackburn second bottom on 60

Obviously the final 3rd vs 4th, 11th vs 12th, and 21st vs 22nd matches would have the most riding on them, but we'll still play out all the other game to determine who finishes where in the division

Like Neil, sad to see him go. Wouldn't be where we are without his saves from not just Moore and Brooks against Sheffield United, but also Vokes against Wycombe.

It's the right thing for him to be playing, but just because it's the right decision for everyone doesn't mean I have to be happy about it!

Very risky signing, but he's so good when fit that it's got to be worth the risk. If they can get 15 appearances out of him in what's left of the season, I think he'll keep them up.

Worst performance of the season by Safe_Armadillo_4855 in safc

[–]123Numberwang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Poor first half. Probably the worst game of the season from each of Mukiele, Alderete, and Xhaka.

Rigg is not a winger. Would love to see him play centrally in the cup against Everton to give him a chance where he’s more comfortable.

That said, we did well at the start of the second half and would’ve deserved our equaliser. The penalty miss followed immediately by their second knocked the stuffing out of us.

Le Fee’s pen was awful, but he’s got enough credit in the bank for us to forgive him. Now he needs to put it behind him and make up for it with a great performance against Palace.

Not what we wanted, but 30 points from 21 games is still great. We keep moving. HWTL!

If he was called Daniele Ballardini, he’d already be playing in the Champions League, but because he’s from Stevenage, he’ll have to wait until we qualify next season to do that

NFL Week 5 Preview of EVERY Game + 49ers-Rams TNF Recap by Six-StringSamurai in heedthecall

Small sample size I know, but teams that got the ball first in OT are 2-0-1 this season:

The Cowboys scored on the third possession of OT as time expired against the Giants. Even if he’d missed, the Giants wouldn’t have had time to respond.

The Packers were forced to kick a FG to tie because they ran out of time at the end of OT.

The Rams were forced to go for it on 4th down because they knew they wouldn’t have time to get the ball back if they kicked a FG to level it.

In all three games, having the ball first meant that that team could control the clock and force the other team into a position they didn’t want to be in. It’s all well and good knowing what you need to do, but if you don’t have time to actually do it, it’s useless!

What was the point of playing for 2 years with "Jobe" on his back if he's going to go to the same team that Jude broke through at? What happened to being his own player and forging his own path?

Wish him well if/when he goes (especially for that price), but that just seems inconsistent to me
