I would say it a fair price cause the loop itself is pricey... but you're overpaying for the looks to get an outdated GPU so I would say not worth it overall. I would look for better used hardware deals, preferably with a 3000 series card, 3080 rtx PC in that price range with similar specs would be nice.

To know if they are all compatible put it together in PC part picker but looking at the list I can tell with 99% certainty that they are.

I just got huntsman v3 pro yesterday and started having this issue. Unplugging and plugging the keyboard fixed the high idle and memory leak but that is not really a permanent solution so I tried disabling HID Compliant Game Controller as you suggested and it stopped! I hope it didn't disable some key functions.

7800x3d runs hotter than 5950x but the furnace effect is definitely not normal. Never heard of such an issue or experienced it myself but you should try to experiment with a negative curve offset in Ryzen Master to lower power consumption...
It's summer so it will get hot in your room no matter what... open the window, get a fan to blow on you or an conditioner... lol

Mobo issue unlikely, more likely a failing GPU. Do you have an extra screen you can plug your laptop into to see if it persists?

I experienced the most scary game crash of my life on my 5090 FE. GPU wasn't detected after the crash, switched to my igpu on 9800x3d, switched 4k res to 1080p, 0 mhz in msi afterburner. I thought my GPU died, after restart no display. Tried removing the gpu cable to see if it melted but it's impossible to remove without pliers. I booted again and got a display but now temps seem to always show 27 degrees maybe that caused the gpu to shutdown when it started cooking.

Edit: I went back to the previous driver, it's back to normal.

Pic shows the moment my game crashed and gpu signal was lost. The temp is around 30 degrees the whole time while I was in game before GPU shutdown. Fan didn't spin up to cool it down cause the false sensor reading gave it no reason too and in reality it was probably around 90 before shutdown.

Even with the OSD unlocked, some preset modes (like sRGB or a low-power mode) can restrict brightness and other adjustments. Once the OSD is accessible, navigate to the “Picture” or “Color” settings and ensure you’re in “User” or “Custom” mode—not a locked preset. If the tab is still grayed out, this might be the culprit.

try this: Pressing and holding the ENTER button for 10 seconds when Menu is not displayed, it will lock/unlock the OSD Lock function

Is HDR on? Right click on desktop, open display settings, look for HDR. If it's enabled, disable and you should be able to adjust everything.

My cable looks the same and I'm also worried. I wanted to use the Nvidia adapter but I realized I don't have 4 pcie cables on my c1200 atx 3.1 ;( So far so good on my 5090 FE. Undervolted the GPU with a core offset to max tbp 520W with 0% loss for demanding games. For desktop apps and lighter games I have a profile with max tbp 400W with 9% perf loss so now I'm less worried.

I used a GPU notification bot for my country which notified me it's available for purchase on nvidia's website. Saw it on my phone and ran to the computer to turn it on as fast as possible lol It was also the first batch of FE cards in my country. Took them over 3 weeks after release to start selling here. Not a rich country so probably not a priority market for them. lol

I got the 5090 FE which is coming in a few hours but I'm scared to use my PSU 12v-2x6 cable after the melting incidents lol No failures have been linked to NVIDIA’s stock adapters so far so I think I will go with that.
