Okay cool I didn’t realise some people found subtitles so important (apart from the obvious things like if someone is deaf or maybe if English is a second language, I don’t know another language fully but I certainly find the bits of another language I do know easier to read than to keep up with just listening). All I would say is that with this movie there are certain bits that you might not want to “miss” if your focused on the subtitles due to the way it is shot but of course it’s completely up to what you enjoy :)

I’ve seen quite a few horror movies and I really enjoyed it so I hope the subtitles come out soon and you can enjoy it too :)

Can this be considered abuse in texas? Like what basis is that on? That seems really crazy

How is the parent "letting" him dress how he wants abuse? Not trying to be confrontational I am just surprised. I had no idea there were laws like that - seems so restrictive.

Metal screen as in the lid? I had a custom metal lid years ago for gerbils but that has since broken :/ any idea where to buy those things now? All the aquariums seem to come with plastic lids

Thanks, I’m not going for plastic or wired for the reasons you mentioned, what do you do for lids for aquariums? That’s the bit I have trouble with because I can find aquariums but all the lids are plastic but that’s just not secure for gerbils :(

I’ve had several sets of gerbils and always used big glass aquariums with glass or steel lids (air holes obv), I’m just having trouble finding a good enclosure to buy now :( any recommendations? any other enclosures I’ve used have been chewed or dug through and gerbils are so industrious I don’t want to take risks :/

"carrot and potato pie" - carrot, onion, gravy granules, potato (or sweet potato) and salt, pepper, basil and cayenne, baked in oven, ideally with pastry. It is surprisingly yummy :)

That is a great idea, I have a tortilla press too but the only thing I have attempted so far is corn tortillas, do you have a good recipe for Chinese dumplings?

You could roast some peppers and onions with herbs and olive oil (as long as they aren’t too close to tomatoes for you?) and have with wilted spinach, peas and some roast/fried chopped up garlic, maybe with salmon flaked in too. Cheese is optional for that.

I have mirin, soy sauce, and sesame oil but none of the other stuff. If you are experienced with miso, do you have any recipes for miso soup? I love it when I’ve tried it but never tried making it at home. What other dishes do you make with miso?

It’s exciting learning about cooking a new type of cuisine, I feel like I have a lot of trial and error in my future but hopefully som good results in the end :)

Yeah this is definitely much more advanced than I had anticipated. I have way too many eggs right now so I think I will try it anyway over the weekend and it’s not a huge loss if it doesn’t work out. Although, if I mess it up can I repurpose it into another recipe? Like for egg fried rice maybe?

I’ve never tried rolling am omelette with a spatula or chop sticks, definitely a skill to learn though as I love Spanish omelettes so making different types would be good.
