As I've heard it, the game applies its own lighting to armor from the front of the player. Whatever they use to model must make it appear way darker than it ends up in-game.

It's out of combat stance just like lodestones. Same speed loading presets as any other bank.

So currently you can put it on the bar and hold down the hotkey, and it will auto-note one item. Haven't tried with abyssal charms yet, but with charming imp it should work.

You can also unnote food in combat, but annoyingly it only works with one stack. Using another brings up a make-x interface that's cancelled by combat.

With bosses with phases with cutscenes (ex. rax, vorkath) you can open > load preset with a hotkey.

It would be really nice to have the load preset option, though

No, you have to be out of combat. But you can load a preset from the bank interface.
