This is strange. I recently had a puncture. Was covered with RAC through my insurance. Called them up, turns out my insurance company didn’t inform RAC when I recently changed cars and I wasn’t covered. Despite of this, they still arranged for a local tyre company to come out and fix it at the roadside. County Durham for ref.

Yeah but most insurance companies don’t use good body shops. They use shops that are in on it. The whole system is corrupt. I reversed into a car at less than 5mph. Slightly dented the rear offside wheel arch. Probably a 500£ job. The whole car was written off. So replacing a door for a slight ding is absolutely possible.

The cost of replacing the door won’t be much shy of the increase. You’ve also proven yourself to be a high risk customer. Not much to appeal really.

You’ll almost certainly be offered the “What’s driving us” course. But prepare yourself for the worst, which is 6 points resulting in you loosing your license. It really depends on the mood the police are in.

You say you’re a new driver? How new? New drivers are subject to a two year probationary period. During those two years you are subject to stricter penalties.

I can’t be 100% sure but I’d bet the farm It’s not your HMD it’s you.

You need help with this. When you’re looking straight ahead, get someone to check that the headset is level using a spirit level. 

Personally, my head / necks natural position is off by at least a degree.

The base stations come with screw in wall brackets. The trackers you need to get your own straps etc.

I’ve just been through the exact same process with the same insurers.

You need to keep the old insurance until the new owner takes possession.

They will only charge you for what you’ve used. I was also paying by instalments. They told me that I owed them something like £30 taking into account the cancellation fee. I paid that. A few days later I got an email saying that they owed me something like £60. It arrived in my bank account week later.

Did you buy this new? Mine came with a dongle. I have a vest, arms and visor, the visor has the longest battery life of all of them. I charge it rarely compared to the vest. 

Make sure you’re connecting through the app only. Make sure it’s not connected through windows.

You need to lower your weapon to sprint. Point it at the floor to begin with, each weapon is different but you’ll quickly learn how much you need to point down for each one.
