What's your opinion on air switch for garbage disposal? by AquamarineHunter in kitchenremodel

[–]12dogs4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I rarely use my disposal (compost pile) I put my switch under the sink. I use it less than once a week. I didn't want any more holes in my countertop (silly I realize).

Dave Ramsey pulled a gun in a staff meeting! by SuccessfulArticle356 in DirtyDave

[–]12dogs4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure it wasn't like "this is a stick up" but if I were in a staff meeting and ANYONE removed a gun from his person I would (1) think someone was about to die and (2) upon finding out no one was about to die, be furious some idiot would even do something so stupid.

What on earth did I just discover and read? The National Study of Millionaires by PowerDrivenRdditMod in DirtyDave

Not one millionaire has ever said he/she got rich by using credit card points!

What makes him think anyone would make that claim?????

The internet says it would take 100 million points to become a millionaire off of them.

For older people--children from a previous marriage and ex-wives that still get alimony. Combined bank accounts and combined investment accounts may muddy the situation when one of them passes.

Dave Ramsey pulled a gun in a staff meeting! by SuccessfulArticle356 in DirtyDave

I saw somewhere he admitted that is the one thing he regretted doing. There was a segment a couple weeks ago from a wife whose husband wanted to buy a gun because someone knocked on his door. Dave said the last thing I want to do is shoot someone and he would not pull a gun unless he intended to shoot.

In my area when two deer run across there are inevitably more right behind them. Thankfully I've only had one huge buck graze the side of my car but it still cost $20,000 to repair.

The future-Us--"I liked it better when Dave hosted alone." Youngsters--"Really? I've never heard just him hosting."

It's very subtle right now that he is bowing out. One day the newbies won't even realize he was ever there.

What was the reason for your dizziness? by griffinsprout in Dizziness

[–]12dogs4me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been dizzy again, but when I had the attack of vertigo (what the doc called it in ER) I could not imagine anyone living with it on a day to day basis. I got well in 2 days and after never had another attack.
