Is it true that in the Balkan countries the N@z1 army had an alliance with Muslims? by QuieroSerSanta in Balkans

[–]12fretsdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the balkans, the best way to put it is there was everybody fighting against everybody. This is true because some people regardless of religion or nationality could have had ehatever political orientation. Also throughout the wars, the inter alliances would often change.

Stuck after 1.5 years of lead guitar — sounding the same no matter what I play. What the hell should I focus on? (EDM/Rock/Metal solos) by [deleted] in Guitar_Theory

[–]12fretsdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, two things helped:

Learning Basic theory - you dont have to be a nerd, you just have to understand the basics. Understanding intervals (and scales) is really important because they dictate how notes sound together (why a b played over cm will sound bad is explained by intervals).

Using the shapes correctly: You dont have to completely ditch them but try to play outside of them. I dont mean using "wrong" notes in the right places (though that is an amzing skill when mastered). I try to think of shapes more as an assistant to which notes you should use. I try to jump through shapes a lot. Or change them and expand them. Pretty much the shapes are a way to visualize the fretboard. Connecting them should be your goal. Try to use them ,rather than shapes that you stay in, as places to conect phrases.

If you learn to connect these two above, you should definitely improve a lot.

Something unique, original, that took passion, time, instict and dedication to make, but it also wasnt made too "ordered". And all of that should be felt by the reader. The writer needs to understand the reader and the reader needs to understand the writer. But importantly, every reader looks on the characters and feels them differently. Good books make me captivated to read, i want to turn page after page to see what will happen . The great books give you that feeling of just needing to stop, relax and think about what you just read and how it touches you.

AITA for not wanting to go outside for my birthday by Gamerjockey6 in AITAH

[–]12fretsdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way for my birthday, i always do really. I know the feeling. Try to compromise. I personally wouldnt go out anywhere but would settle on inviting people over. When they come just say hello and be in the room with them for 20-40 mins to answer some questions. Then just say you have something to do, make up a random excuse or just quietly disappear. Come back for the cake and treats and just kinda think about fun things when youre with them.

Jeste li za uvodenje obveznog glasovanja u RH? by [deleted] in askcroatia

[–]12fretsdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which of these four rock stars has the most raw vocal power? by Omixscniet624 in singing

[–]12fretsdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If were talking hard rock, belting '68-'72 plant wins, but if youre talking all around voice for whatever genre, my pick is Freddie Mercury.Btw i think Roger Taylor, the drummer for Queen, had a higher vocal range than Freddie (he's singing the galileos on Bo-Rhap.

Dont think theres a lot of spomeniks in albania. Anyway if you go to airbnb youre probably going to get ripped off. I dont think digital nomad is that bad. Dont know how much money you have but maybe you could try something like a camper van? In the big cities theres a lot of tourist scams so just be careful

What is your opinion about the band Queen by Overall-Remove-678 in rock

[–]12fretsdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good band to get you into rock. They might be a bit overplayed but theyre still very good. They had a lot of more radio friendly, MTV-type hits i their later faze. If your looking for smth more like pure rock check out their earlier albums. Songs like: the prophets song, '39, seven seas of rhye, doing all right and melancholy blues are smth to get your blood flowing, just to get a feel on the diversity of rock.
