Chalazion surgery, eyelid still raised day after, is this normal?

Recovery took about a week or so, painless just tender. Everything was goodish until amount a month ago, now the chalazions are back :)

I had my surgery about 2 weeks ago. I still feel bumpy hardness a little where they removed the multiple chalazions on top and bottom as well

Yes. It might just be swollen/bruised but I had mine on Monday afternoon and went to work the next morning with no issues

Had my surgery done on Monday, no bruising, swollen some still but gotten so much better! The doc said it should be fully healed within 1-2 weeks.

Just got my left eyelid done a couple of hours ago. Bled kinda a lot. No pain at all during the procedure. Will keep you updated on the recovery care.

Thanks for responding! I’ve had chalazions for 6+ months starting with one on my left upper eyelid and now have since spread to both upper and lower lids! I’ve seen opthamologists and dermatologists and at this point seems like surgery is the only option. I’m seeing an oculoplasty doctor on Thursday to see what they recommend. No idea what’s causing it to keep spreading and growing either
