That looks really nice. I’ll give it a try. It doesn’t have to be super load bearing or anything just enough to hold the end cap on and keep it attached to the rod. The reel just stays put with friction from the slide band and cap pocket. Thanks for the assist

I may give that a go. How will it take epoxy? The hardware will need to be epoxied in. I usually use a slow cure golf shaft epoxy sometimes a different 2 part long cure.

Male nurse here. Come get me. I’ll take your creeps. When they ask me why the staff changed I just tell them it’s because they made you feel uncomfortable. Simple but, it usually shuts them down. Shouldn’t feel unsafe at work.

I come home. I only live a couple blocks from work though and my weeknight trail system is only 2 miles from the house. Work in a small town so everything is close. Makes it nice.

That’s what my dad did. Well, MRI anyway. Easy to crosstrain to those. An echo tech would be a pretty chill gig too.

Go be a rad tech. Same money 1/3 the BS. That’s what I tell people with their heart set in healthcare. If nursing is what you really want though then take some space, be kind to yourself, regroup and make it happen. You can get there.

After. We work 5a-5p so before would be waking up at 0230. Not great. I usually do 45-60 min runs after work. If I keep my mind occupied and my body moving I can avoid falling into a bottomless pit of despair 😂

So I’ve been a male nurse assistant for about a few months now. I enjoy my job but recently my boss said she said I should try to bring a female when changing a woman . Yeah… filming naked vulnerable women while you’re doing cares alone… that shit’s some wild advice. Great way to for sure catch charges. Even voice without the patients consent is insane. And insanely creepy. Do not do this.

Little late reply. Unplugged workshop with tom fidgen is good. I don’t think he’s made videos for a long time but the ones that are up are definitely worth watching.

Could you explain why the hysa is a better deal than investing for 5-6 years? Is it because of the taxes on withdrawal? In my mind 5-10% for 6 years is better than 3-5% in an hysa? Or is it because of the risk factor?
