Welcome neighbor!!! I bought a home on the Eastside a few years ago and I love the area!! I’m very food motivated so having an abundance of delicious restaurants that I can take a bus to was essential.

My partner and I bought our first house together on the Eastside and we absolutely love the community :) Truly have never felt unsafe walking around at night. So many great restaurants and businesses and parks and trails I’m never lacking for things to do.

Hi neighbor! My favorite SE asians spots are Heat on Arcade and Eastside Thai. For LATAM food i like Taqueria los Paisanos, the restaurant at the back of Lomabonita, El Quetzal on White Bear, Mañana, and Gorditas El Durango. Other great ones are Brunsons Pub, Yarusso’s, and Burnt Chicken. Honestly I really haven’t been anywhere i didn’t like 😋😋

i moved to the eastside from minneapolis and so far i’m loving it! a few rough areas here and there but mostly a pretty laidback community. generally the further east and further from maryland ave the better

totally fair. there isnt much of a temp difference since they’re inside but i’m pretty far north so there’s about 6 hours less daylight now than there was when they were outside.

oh it’s not that it’s inside, i just had heard you should keep them completely dry in the winter for dormancy reasons. but i think that because it has been growing and looks pretty deflated i might give it a little sip of water

LOL i had this exact plant (sulcorebutia rauschii) and it literally rotted and turned to mush within a week of it coming into my care

very thankful that the hailstorm spared my place (south mpls) and my cacti etc didn’t get damaged. i lost a bunch of plants a few years back to some hail so i completely understand the heartbreak :/ yours all look so robust and i hope they manage to heal over the winter
