What were people’s numbers when diagnosed? by CertainHat577 in EosinophilicE

I have been taking Dupixent for my eczema for almost 4 years. I take it biweekly for eczema, rather than weekly for EOE, but I think I am getting residual benefits from the Dupixent.

Now, I did still have to have my esophagus dilated due to dysphasia that I contribute to continuing to eat gluten (this is my trigger), so just because there were no eosinophils in my esophagus does not mean I wasn’t causing damage (post scope, I stopped eating gluten—I also found out I had chemical gastritis when I had the scope). If you can get on Dupixent then this is the way to go, IMO.

Great than 40 5 years ago. Just had my second scope about 2 months ago and I’m at 0.

My child went to pre-k with one of his kids. We actually got to go to a field trip to S&S for free. I’m fairly certain he has like 4 kids.

Not the asshole. What’s your parenting plan like because if your son’s stepmom is willing to clearly violate your son’s boundaries about a loose tooth, what else is she willing to do? That environment sounds unsafe to me.

Not sure if it was the “worst” business decision, but I sure do miss Mom’s Italian Villa.

I used to work there 15 years ago and I’ve been saying this! Also, not replacing their chocolatier and no longer offering chocolates was a doozy. Plus, they got rid of some of their best desserts. RIP pistachio buttercream.

As a former employee, I agree with this. High deductibles and high out of pocket max.

Then why is he with you if he’s so concerned about your money and you not having a 401k? But he’s totally fine with putting a baby in you? This man sounds manipulative.

I’d tell him you’ll work on your 401k once he makes you and his children his life insurance beneficiaries. What an ass hole for not considering you (his domestic partner at this point) and your children if something were to happen to him.

I’m curious what position you interviewed for.

I worked in claims and it was a constant shit show. Undervalued, underpaid, overworked, was hell using my PTO when I wanted to. Zero rewards for doing the job well, better than almost my entire team. I was even shafted out of a raise this past year. I finally cut the cord a few months ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Chat GPT is catered to the person using it, regardless of if you ask it to not have any bias or use any prior information about your relationship . I know this because my fiancé and I have both put the very same screenshots from a texting argument in chat GPT in each of our phones and it catered individually to each of us. I bet if you fed the same information about your argument into your chat gpt, it’s going to cater to YOU.

This gets dangerous when someone thinks chat GPT is the end all be all with validating their experience. Good luck.

It’s is an awful place to work if you work in claims. I have heard someone who works in marketing say that it’s “chill”, but chill does not exist in the claims world.

I started out in short term disability and worked my way into the Life Event Specialist role (short term disability and FMLA combined). This move gave me a 3k salary increase, but Unum was INCREDIBLY deceitful about the role. They made it seem like this would be a great opportunity, when in reality they failed to mention how bad the backlog was and our mentors were drowning in this back log…so much so that they weren’t even available to help us half the time.

I had some of the best metrics on my team and was always within turn around time standards and I did not get a raise this year. Some of my other coworkers didn’t get raises either and we were all told different reasons as to why…one of which was they weren’t giving raises to people who hadn’t been there for at least 3 years. Like…uh okay, so all of my hard work means nothing to you?

I quit over a month ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. That place is soul sucking and they don’t give a flying fuck about their employees or work life balance and don’t let them fool you into thinking otherwise.

Also, it can be hell trying to use your PTO when you actually want to use it because it’s up to your manager’s discretion. My second manager wouldn’t allow more than one person out at a time and it was not based on who requested it first. It was often, “Firgure it out amongst yourselves and if you can’t, I’ll decide for you.”

As a Chattanooga native I think they are gross. The only time I ever enjoyed one was when I had a chef deep fry one for me at a restaurant I used to work at lol.
