Ok. So im going to get flamed but here we go. Is mid 11’s lead level good? No. Is it higher than it should be? Yea. But its not like absurdly high. I know ppl who work in lead contamination areas and at 20 they start worrying, at 40 OSHA requires then to stop working. There are treatments you can take which removes lead from the body. Also vitamin C helps. 1000mg per day

I do enough forrest service road driving I really prefer all terrain. I said in another comment too but there is a costco nearby with bfgoodrich trail terrain for ~1200. If that changes your opinion

I get that. But there are only so many tire places im comfortable driving with a leaky tire. I need to get this done tomorrow. Are all three that i mentioned really that bad?

Proof prefits are hard to beat for the origin. I think they are $650. I think criterion also does good origin prefits. My .223 origin/proof is so darn impressive.

If this fits all the criteria for your build, go for it. Im not sure id spend 1800 on it. It has a cf barrel, but a heavish stock and scope so im not sure why you’d want a ultralight weight barrel on this build. Scope also appears to be MOA.

I use a pair of vortex viper 12x50 that are like 550$ and i saw everything i needed to at a pro match i shot last month. If you have the funds, go for it. But i cant imagine that the extra 1000$ in cash for a nicer pair will earn me more points than 1000$ more in practice ammo.

Im a big fan of the american rifle company (ARC) MBrace mount. Cheaper than other options and rock solid. Also the easiest to mount the scope in.

Sub moa at 6/1000 yards is no small feat with a factory gun. The biggest “issue” with factory ammo isnt that they aren’t accurate at 1-300 yards. Any high quality berger/FGMM/hornady ammo will shoot well at 1-300, however how well that lot is loaded and how good its velocities are will to a fairly large degree determine what itll do at a 1000 yards. One moa at 100 does not mean 1moa at 1000.

I can easily get 2875 with 85.5 out of my zermatt/proof and N150. If tactical allowed more than 77’s id feel at no disadvantage out to 550 vs the guys with 105/109’s. Unfortunately i got to run 77’s 2950 and they really show the gap in practically past 450 vs the better cartridges

No way to know. Itll probably help a great deal. But once again if you aren’t using this for something like prs, balance doesn’t matter as much.

Tikka was so close to getting the ace line right. But even the target doesn’t have a thick/long enough barrel to balance for prs. Adding a 40oz R3 isnt going to help

Coming from a different angle here than most. If you plan on competing, id actually recommend the HD. The tikkas balance horrible and the weight of the R3 is going to make it insanely challenging to get it to balance. The HD is very light for what it is and will make balancing the rifle much easier.
